Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore Wheelchair Accessibility

As I said before one of my goals for writing this blog was to include information about the places we visit that are wheelchair accesible. We found Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore to be very accessible.  We found this link to The Disabled Traveler's Companion to be very helpful in planing our day.  The area we visited was the Portage Lakefront and Riverwalk. It had wheelchair access all the way out the riverwalk and completely down to the beach, with a space to park her wheelchair.  We had a beautiful day on Lake Michigan!
